BMW Championship
Congratulations to our 2026 Moon Pool Champion, Adam Gaspar, and his Peete4HOF entry which held on in a very strange closing week to win it all. He will shortly join our honored champions in the Hall of Fame page. All 5 of the players in the money positions were able to hold the line the last week as the final week's selections by the top position players did not get the job done. Probably the oddest of all was Brown Beer GC, our 2nd place finisher, who did not have a golfer going for him and a relatively modest lead over the rest of the field behind him, still, as said before, held his spot and took home 2nd place money.3rd thru 5th place ended up very close with 5th place finisher,Livyourtruthbruv, holding on to the final money winning position by a mere $2,585 over KQ .Paymaq finished in 3rd and Junior, an earlier triple skin winner, finished in 4th.
The champions represent a huge geographical gap. Peete4HOF hails from Detroit, Brown Deer from suburban Milwaukee, Paymaq lives in Chicago, Junior is a hometown lad here in Elmhurst,IL and Livyourtruth resides in NC.
Paymaq and LIVyourtruth, are not only brothers ( The Anderson boys), but rookies to the Moon Pool this season.... not bad....... Their father, Mike, played in the pool for at least a decade and was one of the reasons the pool jumped from being a little local pool with 25 or so players to a peak near 125. As sales head of the Ft. Dearborn group, he often had 10-15 associates from his company playing as he told me once it sparked a lot of good competition and camaraderie amongst the sales group. As they expanded so did the pool.......
I realize most of you don't give a flying fu#!, but I am writing this and I absolutely LOVE this kind of shit......
Finally congratulations to all our winners and a heartfelt thanks to each and everyone of you for participating-without you there is no pool.
May each of you have a safe and healthy off season and with a little bit of luck you will be hearing from me for the start of the 2027 version of The Moon Pool. Winners expect your money soon.
